Many, myself included, are wonderful at coming up with suggestions for team building and culture. What steps to follow, what kind of people to look for.
But in the end any team, any culture will only work if it is authentic. At some point as leader you must shut out the bullshit and dig deep to discover your own wisdom.
Certainly you can borrow from the learnings of others, but never ever let it replace your focus on aligning your vision with your beliefs and goals.
In the end you must “keep it real” because authenticity is most of the story.
